Always Restart Before Open Session

From the Main Menu bar, select Options | Always Restart Before Open Session to set GeoVista to prompt you to close and save changes to the current session before it opens another session. Otherwise, it will open the new session as well as keep open the current session.

If the new session has any of the same layers as the open session, you will see a duplicate layer error message.
