Progress Bar
The Progress
bar is always docked below the Status Bar on GeoVista
interface. It displays several types of information, including tool-tips
and information fields.
You might see the following messages display in the Progress
bar:
- Building
Hit Source - Displays during a query search.
- Ready
- Indicates the search engine is ready to perform a query.
- Loading
- Every time you move around in your map and adjust the zoom, GeoVista
has to reload your map data to display only the area you want. If you
have any searches saved in result sets, GeoVista
will reload that information (if you selected it to display). While the
data reloads, you will see a loading messages that indicates each layer's
progress.
- Working
- When you click on the map to see information, GeoVista
displays this message so that you know it is looking for your data.
- Building Shape
File Spatial Index - Displays while GeoVista
loads the information you selected to import.
