        Menu Bars
        
        ProductName has several menu bars 
 that you can use to quickly give commands to the ProductName 
 software.
        Located at the top of a window, the menu bar has a list of headings 
 that expand to display a list of options you can select. You will find 
 a menu bar at the top of the Map 
 window and the top of the Seismic 
 window. For example, in the Map 
 window, you can select the  to access the zoom function.
        You can customize the menu bars in the following ways:
        
Reset menu usage data
        
        
            Click <Reset Menu Usage Data> 
 to clear the settings that ProductName 
 automatically saves when you select the menu bar tools.
            This option resets tools that appear on short menus only if the Menus show recently used tools first 
 check box is selected. 
            This button will not change any customizing of toolbars you have made. 
         
        
Move a Menu Bar
        
        
            To move a  on the Map or Seismic window, drag the move handle 
 anywhere on the screen to create a .
         
        Menu Commands
        
Add a Command to a Menu
        
        
            
                - From the ,  or  menu bar, select .
 
            
            
                - Leave the Customize dialog box open. 
 
                - Select the Commands 
 tab.
 
                - Click on a Category 
 field to display its list of available commands.
 
                - Drag a command
 from the list over the menu you want to add it to.
 
                - Point to where you want the command located in 
 the list, and release the mouse button.
 
                - When you have completed adding commands, click <Close>.
 
            
         
        
Delete a Command from a Menu
        
        
            
                - From the ,  or  menu bar, select .
 
                - Leave the Customize dialog box open.
 
                - Select the Commands 
 tab.
 
                - Click to expand the menu item that contains the 
 command you want to delete.
 
                - Click on the command and drag it off the menu.
 
                - Click <Close> to finish.
 
            
            
Show full menus after 
 a short delay
            
            
                Follow these steps to set WinPICS 
 to delay showing full menus: 
                
                    - From the , , or  menu bar, select  to open the Customize 
 dialog box.
 
                    - Click the Options tab.
 
                    - Select the Show 
 full menus after a short delay check box.
 
                
             
            
Menu Animation
            
            
                
Follow these steps to change the menu animations:
                
                    - From the , , or  menu bar, select  to open the Customize dialog box.
 
                    - Click the Options tab. 
 
                    - Select an option from the Menu 
 animation list.
 
                
            
            
Reset a Menu
            
            
                To reset a menu to its default setting, follow these steps:
                
                    - From the , , or  menu bar, or Seismic Menu 
 bar, select  to open the Customize dialog box.
 
                    - Click the Options tab.
 
                    - Click <Reset 
 menu and toolbar usage data>. A confirmation dialog box opens.
 
                    - Click <Yes> 
 to clear the settings that WinPICS 
 automatically saves when you select the menu bar tools. WinPICS 
 will not undo any customizations of toolbars you have made.
 
                
                
                    - This option resets tools that appear on short menus only if the Menus show recently used tools first 
 check box is selected.
 
                
             
         
        
Modify how text/image appears on menu 
 commands
        
        
            
                - From the ,  or  menu bar, select .
 
                - Leave the Customize dialog box open. 
 
                - Select the Commands 
 tab.
 
                - Click on the menu that contains the command you 
 want to change.
 
                - Right click on the command and select your option 
 from the pop-up menu.
 
                - Click <Close> to finish.
