Edit LUT
- ProductName reads a number of standardized mnemonics that enable you to create synthetics. You also have the option to customize the mnemonics or units for a variety of your well synthetics. By using the LUT (Lookup Table) editor, you can expand your ability to create synthetics using the wide range of curve abbreviations found in LAS files.
- Edit lut options
- On the Application toolbar select
| to open the Wellspot Database.
- Select the well(s) you want to add a customized synthetic to.
- Click <Edit LUT>, and select a synthetic from the list.
You will find the information needed to select the appropriate LUT option by looking in your LAS file under curve information.
- In the text editor, follow the instructions to make your changes to the mnemonics or units.
- Click <Save>. The new synthetic file (.svn) is added to the LASLOGS folder for the selected well(s). When no valid sonic is found, ProductName deletes the synthetic volume and file.
- When you edit Lookup Table information (LUT), ProductName stores it separately from the base system. LUT information and new software or patch installations will not overwrite the information.
