Seismic Preferences

You set seismic preferences on a project-by-project basis. ProductName will save the preferences as defaults for your current project. To open the Seimic Preferences dialog box, click Preferences on the Seismic menu bar and select Data Window Preferences. The dialog box has six tabs:

• Display Options
• Seismic Scales
• Display Mode
• Seismic Misc.
• Gains
• Display Attribute

Each tab has the following common options:

• Automatically Update Seismic Preferences - When this check box is selected, ProductNameautomatically saves any changes to your seismic display as project preferences in any new seismic windows you open.
• <System Defaults> - Click to this button return your seismic project preferences to the original default settings.
• <Apply to Project in View> - Click this button to apply the seismic project preferences settings to your current project, as well as to write the settings to an *.xml file that ProductName associates with this project. You can use this *.xml file to apply the same settings to other projects.
• <Apply to View> - Click this button to apply the seismic project preferences settings to your current project.
