Export SVG - (Scalable Vector Graphics)

You can export map overlays, underlays and fault traces as scalable vector graphics SVG files.

  1. From the Application toolbar, select | Export Overlays | Export SVG. The Map Objects Converter window opens.
  2. To export your WinPICS map objects to scalable vector graphics SVG files select the following options from the import and export lists:
 

The Map Objects Converter window displays a list of available objects in the left hand window. The following overlay types may be found:

  1. Select the Coordinate Conversion check box to open a dialog box where you can modify the coordinate parameters, including projection, zone, and datum. Click <OK> when you finished setting up the coordinate conversion.
  2. Select the map objects to export from the list. Use the <Shift> or <Ctrl> keys for multiple selections.
  1. Click <Browse> to select an output directory for the exported file. All selected files will be exported to a single SVG file.
  2. Select <Save> to output the file(s).
