Building PICScripts Click by Click

If you are not an experienced programmer, learning the PICScript programming language can be a little intimidating. However, function buttons, and automatic declarations will enable you to construct scripts even if you are a beginner.

The PICScript dialog provides buttons and lists so you can select items as building blocks for your script. For your convenience, you can move the Function tab to a floating button bar to make it easier to construct scripts.

The following takes you through the process to build scripts:

Run a Grid Script

Run a Horizon Script

To rerun script with modifications

You may modify the script and rerun it without closing PICScript. Examples:

Use update aliases, to change horizon assignments.

In the text box, erase and replace seismic function parameters.

Select different seismic data from the Lines/Areas tab.
