Comparison Image Polygon
Use the comparison image polygon tool to cut and drag a portion of seismic data
anywhere on your desktop. A key feature is the ability to visually jump
correlate horizons across faults. Follow these steps:
- If you are running Windows Vista on your computer, you must change your Vista settings in order for correlation polygons to function properly. Follow the directions to disable the Vista Aero functionality.
- On the Seismicmenu bar, select .
- The cursor will turn into a cross-hair. Left click
around the area you want to capture, and right click to close the polygon.
- Move the image around the screen by left clicking
and dragging. To clear the polygon, simply right click on the image.
- With each capture, a copy of the image is saved
in the Windows clipboard. This
image can be pasted into various applications.
