Select Horizon or Grid

The Select Horizon or Grid module is a simple data graphics viewer based on TeeChart.™  The display geometry is limited to 500 cells in length and width. (500 cells by 500 cells.)

How to open this dialog box

On the Application toolbar, select | View Horizon or Grid in 3D to open the Select Horizon or Grid dialog box.

Selecting Surfaces

You may visualize grids or 3D Horizons/Faults. Surfaces are displayed using the Geometry of a grid or a 3D data set. You may visualize more than one grid or horizon/fault in the display.

1. SelectGrids or Horizons.
2. Select Geometry.

• This will be the name of the Grid Geometry or Grid Definition
  \r\nThe location, angle, number of cells, density of cells, length and width of grid.grid geometry  used to create the grid(s).
• Or the name of the 3D data set the horizon(s) were picked on.

2. Select Attribute.

• Grid attributes are: Time, Amplitude, Average Velocity, Interval Velocity, or Depth.
• Horizon attributes are: Time or Amplitude

3. A list of Surfaces for the specified Geometry and Attribute is displayed. Left click on one or more of the surfaces to select. (Left click on a selected surface to de-select.)
4. Click <View>. A 3D cube visualization will be generated.

Manipulating The Display

By default the display uses simple graphics. If your graphics card can support OpenGL, click the <Toggle OpenGL> button for a better quality display and easier manipulation.
