Parameters Not Saved to Template

Some settings are not saved to templates but are set manually or are inherited from the screen display.

Manually Set Parameters

Print device selection
Paper size and orientation
Map extents for map plots or horizontal and vertical data range for seismic plots

Parameters Inherited from the Screen Display

The following are parameters inherited from the Seismic window:

Horizons/faults to plot on seismic
Color palette display settings
Seismic attributes
Currently you cannot change the attribute settings from within the Display Options dialog box. You need to set up your attribute display in the Map window or the Seismic window before you open the Display Options dialog box.

The following are parameters inherited from the Map window:

Posted horizons, isochrons, gridded data, time slices, horizon slices, and consistency slices
Data smoothing parameters
Contour marking
Color palette display settings
