Print Layout

Click <Preview> on the Print to Windows Device dialog box to open the Print Layout dialog box, where you can preview and edit how your map will print.

The view you see in the main window is what will print when you send your map to the printer, including if you will see a legend, author's block, or company logo. Click on the image below to learn more about the areas of the interface:

The Print Layout dialog box does not have an <Undo> button. Therefore, any changes you make (such as deleting an object) are permanent. However, you can replace any standard object you delete by re-drawing the item on the page.
