LogEdit
Send your LAS log curves from WinPICS
to LogEdit to edit the formation
tops, curves, header information, and formation data. Edited
logs are then returned to your WinPICS
project where the tops are stored into the well database, and the log
is used to dynamically update your synthetic seismogram. View image
Pick tops using the high quality displays of LogEdit
or edit curves and see your changes reflected in your active WinPICS
project immediately.

Sending your WinPICS Synthetics to LogEdit (Overview)
- Click the LogEdit button on the Earth
Tools toolbar.
- Left click on a synthetic seismogram on your WinPICS basemap. (To send more than
one log to LogEdit, continue
left-clicking on synthetics on your WinPICS
basemap.)
- LogEdit
will open displaying the curves from your WinPICS
LAS file.
- Use LogEdit
to edit your curves, formation tops, header information and formation
data. (Refer to the LogEdit Help File
for more information.)
- When editing of the log file is complete, click
the Launch WinPICS button
in LogEdit to dynamically update
your WinPICS synthetic seismogram.
