Calculate Dip or Azimuth on a Posted Horizon

On the Map
Menu bar select .
Calculate dip or azimuth
Follow these steps:
- Select one of your project's horizons from the drop-down list.
- Select an attribute (time or amplitude) to use for the calculation.
- Click to highlight the 3D volume or volumes to process.
- Select Dip or Azimuth for the output calculation type.
- Type a name for the new Output
Horizon, or select an existing horizon name from the
list.
- If you select an existing horizon, WinPICS will overwrite the horizon's amplitude field.
- Click <OK>. The progress status bar displays the status of the calculation.
- Dip and azimuth surfaces are stored as amplitude.
