On February 15, 2005, the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) recommended to its members to adopt NAD83 as the official geodetic datum for all spatial data. As a result, Divestco committed to adopt the NAD83 geodetic datum and the related authoritative master land grid (DLS) for all our Divestco databases and services.
We are upgrading all Divestco software products to utilize NAD83 as the primary datum, while still offering you the option to import and export in NAD27. WinPICSsoftware is now NAD83 compatible.
