The Map Tools toolbar has the following options:

Zoom In/Out |
Turns your cursor into a zoom tool that you can use to zoom in and out (hold down the <Ctrl> key to zoom out). |

Pan |
Pan around the map by clicking, holding, dragging, and releasing. |

Re-center Map |
Click anywhere on the map to make that location the new center. |

Select Mode |
Click on the map and retrieve ticket information for wells, facilities, pipelines, and land. Or, select shape file information. |

Select Point |
Click on the map and retrieve ticket information for wells and facilities. |
|
Select Line |
Click on the map to retrieve ticket information for pipelines, select shape file information, or edge layers. |
|
Select Region |
Click on the map and retrieve ticket information for crown land, units, or land sales. Or, select shape file information. |
|
Select Individual Wells |
Click this toolbar icon to add wells to an existing result list, or create a new list on-the-fly. Read more |

Set Scale |
Opens the Zoom To Scale/Center dialog box, where you can select to zoom to a specific area and scale on the map. |
|
Zoom 2X In |
Click to zoom into the map at two times the map scale. |
|
Zoom 2x Out |
Click to zoom out of the map at two times the map scale. |

Refresh |
Redraw the map to reflect any layer changes or postings you made. |
|
Forward |
View the next map in the history buffer. |
|
Backward |
View the previous map in the history buffer. |
|
Spatial Query |
Create a spatial query by defining a shape on the map. Read more |
|
Print Preview |
View a print preview of the current map. |

Print the current map. |
