Edit a Map Overlay

1. Create a Map Drawing Polygon, or open an existing polygon file.
2. To edit an existing horizon, right-click to open the Map Drawing menu.
3. Select Delete/ Edit Object with Polygon | Draw Object to open the Edit

4. In the Input Data section, select a map overlay to edit from the list.
5. Specify which map entities to delete from the resulting overlay.

• Delete Map Overlay Inside Polygon will retain all data outside the polygon. Entities that begin inside and end outside the polygon will be retained also.
• Delete Map Overlay Outside Polygon will retain all entities inside the polygon. Entities that begin inside and end outside the polygon will be retained also.

6. In the Output Data section, enter a unique name for the output map overlay to create a new overlay in the database. Enter the same name as the input map overlay to overwrite the existing overlay.
7. Click <OK>. The Edit Draw Object with Polygon dialog box will close.
