Draw a Polygon- Overview

Polygons may be used to select data points or entities from a posted map. Because this requires a degree of precision, special editing tools are provided.

The Map Drawing menu is where you edit the properties of the selected object as well as editing objects that are similar to it.  See  Draw Object Properties and Draw Object Properties for All respectively.

A Polygon will enable you to:

• Copy, Cut, and Paste Map Objects
• Perform Area and Volumetric Calculations.
• Delete/Edit Data or Project Elements Inside or Outside a Polygon Boundary.
• Grid Data Points Inside or Outside a Polygon Boundary.
• Flood fill the 3D seismic inside the boundary
• Export SEGY Data or Project Elements Inside or Outside a Polygon Boundary.
