Compute Area / Simple Volume

  1. Create a Map Drawing Polygon or Open a existing polygon file.
  2. To compute the area and volume of the polygon, right-click to open the Map Drawing menu.
  3. Select Volumetrics | Compute Area | Simple Volume to open the Polygon Area dialog box. CollapsedView image
  1. The area of the inside of the polygon will automatically be calculated in both metric and imperial units. To calculate a volume of the polygon, enter a thickness for the calculation and select the correct units.
  2. Click <Calculate>and a volume will be displayed in both metric and imperial units.
  3. Click <Close>to exit.
