This dialog box has the following options:
Option | Description |

UWI/API | This box gives you the long name of the well. To change the long name, click in the box and type the new name. |
Short Name | This box gives you the abbreviated name for the well. To change the short name, click in the box and type a new name. If you don't want to use the short name, type N/A. |
UTM X | This box tells you the x coordinates for the well. To change the value, click in the box and type the value you want. |
UTM Y | This box tells you the y coordinates for the well. To change the value, click in the box and type the value you want. |
Operator Name | This box tells you the name of the operator associated with this well. To add or edit the operator name, select the check box next to the Operator Name box to enable it. Then in the box, type the name of the operator you want. |
Lease Name | This box tells you the name of the lessee associated with this well. To add or edit the lease name, select the check box next to the Lease Name box to enable it. Then in the box, type the name of the lease you want. |
Date |
This box tells you the well creation date. To change the date, click on the drop-down arrow and select the date you want from the calendar provided. Or, type the date you want in the box.

Symbol | This list shows you the symbol currently assigned to the well spot. Click the list to change the symbol. |
Boreholes Window | Lists the borehole associated with the well, if there is one, and all of the data for that borehole. |

Click to open the Edit Borehole For dialog box. If the well spot doesn't currently have a borehole associated with it, you can create a new borehole for the current well spot. At minimum, you must manually enter the short name and UTM X/Ys. Optionally, you can also add other parameters such as long name, operator name, lease name, date, symbol, and borehole details.

<Edit Borehole> | Left-click on a borehole in the Boreholes window, and then click this button to open the Edit Borehole For dialog box. From here, you can edit well parameters such as name and location. |
<Del Borehole> | In the Boreholes window, left-click on the borehole you want to delete, and click this button to remove that borehole from the well in your database. |
<TOPS> | Click to edit or delete well tops. |
<Logs> | Click to view all of the options for working with logs. |
<Survey> | Click to edit or delete surveys. |
<Checkshot> | Click to view all the options for working with checkshots. |
You can keep this dialog box open while you work in the Well Spot Database dialog box, the Map window, or the Seismic window.
