Calculate Curvature on a Posted Horizon

How to open this dialog box

On the Map Menu bar select Horizon | Curvature on Posted Horizon.

• For this option to be active you must have a horizon posted. For help with this see post horizon.

Calculate the curvature on a horizon

Follow these steps:

1. Select one of your project's horizons from the Horizon Name list.
2. Select an attribute (time or amplitude) to use for the calculation.
3. Click to highlight the 3D volume or volumes to process.
4. Select the curvature type.
5. Type the window aperture value.
6. Type the curvature scale.
7. Type a name for the new Output Horizon, or select an existing horizon name from the list.
8. If you select an existing horizon, ProductName will overwrite the horizon's amplitude field.
9. Click <OK>. The progress status bar displays the status of the calculation.
