Post Current Horizon/Fault
Post the current horizon/fault on the map window
On the menu bar, select (or press <c>
on your keyboard).
The Map
window will display the active horizon/fault. This is particularly useful
when you are picking several different horizons/faults in the seismic
window and wish to quickly post the current horizon/fault in the Map window.
- The
active horizon/fault name is displayed on the Horizon
Picking toolbar.
Post a horizon/fault from the object manager
On the Horizon tab of the Object Manager bar, double-click on the horizon or fault. ProductName posts the event in the Map window, and the Horizon tab now displays an open eye beside the event.

post multiple horizons or faults
On the Posting Status toolbar, select <<Multiple>> from the list of Reference: events (or press.<p> on your keyboard) to open the Post Time dialog box, where you can post multiple horizons or faults at the same time.
Cycle through horizons
You can use shortcut keys to quickly cycle through the horizons/faults in your project.
- To post the next horizon in your project, press <+> on your keyboard.
- To return to the previous horizon, press <->on your keyboard.
