Interpolate

Use the Interpolate dialog box to interpolate all shotpoints or X/Y coordinates between two selected traces. For example, if trace 1 has an X-coordinate of 100001 and trace 10 has an X-coordinate of 100010, then the X-coordinate of trace 2 would be 100002, and trace 3 would be 100003, etc. View image

Follow these steps:

  1. The Start Trace list displays the number of your first selected trace. To select a different trace, click the arrow buttons to scroll through the list of traces.
  2. The End Trace list displays the number of your last selected trace. To select a different trace, click the arrow buttons to scroll through the list of traces.
  1. Select the Interpolate Shot Points check box if you want to interpolate the shot points.
  2. Select the Interpolate X,Y Coordinates check box if you want to interpolate the X/Y coordinates.
  3. Click <Interpolate> to interpolate all the values between your first and last trace, based on the values of the first and last trace.
