Interpolate
Use the Interpolate
dialog box to interpolate all shotpoints or X/Y coordinates between two
selected traces. For example, if trace
1 has an X-coordinate of 100001 and trace 10 has an X-coordinate of 100010,
then the X-coordinate of trace 2 would be 100002, and trace 3 would be
100003, etc. View image
Follow these steps:
- The Start Trace
list displays the number of your first selected trace. To select a different
trace, click the arrow buttons to scroll through the list of traces.
- The End Trace
list displays the number of your last selected trace. To select a different
trace, click the arrow buttons to scroll through the list of traces.
- WinPICSextrapolates all the
traces between your selected Start Trace
and End Trace.
- Select the Interpolate
Shot Points check box if you want to interpolate the shot points.
- Select the Interpolate
X,Y Coordinates check box if you want to interpolate the X/Y coordinates.
- Click <Interpolate>
to interpolate all the values between your first and last trace, based
on the values of the first and last trace.
