WinPICS Default SEG-Y Format
If your SEG-Y files are saved to the WinPICS
default SEG-Y format, you can load the seismic to your project. The table
below lists the necessary parameters and their byte offset and format
specifications.
- You can duplicate integers to avoid decimals
(‘101, 101, 102, 102, etc.’ represents ‘101, 101.5, 102, 102.5, etc.’).
Furthermore, will interpolate shotpoints or x/y coordinates
for traces with zeros in the trace header when they fall between valid
shotpoint/coordinate numbers.WinPICS
