Color
Palette - Drag Mode
Set the Drag Mode
to rotate the color set or to define the interpolation method for assigning
color values to the color set. You can select exponential
or linear interpolation. Access
the Drag Mode function by right clicking on the color palette and selecting
from the popup menu.
Select one of three options:
- Rotate - Colors on the color palette are rotated and assigned a new location
relative to the data values. Left click on a color and, without releasing
the mouse button, drag it to a new location. Release left mouse button.
- Exponential Interpolation – Colors are exponentially
interpolated between two points. Left click on a color and, without releasing
the mouse button, drag it to another color. The cross-hatched region is
interpolated when the left mouse button is released. The second color
is given more weight than the first color.
- Linear Interpolation – Colors are linearly
interpolated between two points. Left click on a color and, without releasing
the mouse button, drag it to another color. The cross-hatched region is
linearly interpolated when the left mouse button is released.
The current mode has a green check mark.
