Project Database Rules

Do not place personal files in a project directory. Create a sub-directory under your project for personal files if necessary.
Do not copy source files into your project directory. Use a temporary source directory for import. See Preparing for SEG-Y Import.
When you move imported SEG-Y files into your directory, move data and support files together.
When you delete imported SEG-Y files from your directory, remove all support files associated with those files.
If you receive pre-imported SEG-Y data from a data prep service, move data and all support files together.
