Saving New Horizons

To save new isochrons, amplitude ratios, or smoothed picks, on the Map menu bar select Horizon | Save Posted Horizon As New. Enter a new name and click <OK>.

Once you have saved your isochrons, amplitude ratios, or smoothed picks to a new horizon name, you can view the horizon on your Map window. You can also view your smoothed picks on the seismic data.

• The Horizon tab of the Layer Manager bar enables you to delete, rename, and enable/disable horizons for drawing on the seismic. You may want to disable the original horizon for draw on seismic when you display of the smoothed horizon on your section.

• Calculate and post isochrons and amplitude ratio maps
• Smooth your horizon picks, isochrons, time slices, or gridded horizons
• Save slices as horizons
