Fence Gap Width

The fence gap width is the number of blank traces between segments in a fence display.

Changing the Fence Gap Width

1. From the Seismic window's Main menu bar, select Record Navigation | Fence | Gap Width.
2. Enter a number between 0 and 100 for the new fence gap width.
3. Click <OK>.

• Set the fence gap width for all your projects by selecting (from the Seismic menu bar) Preferences | Seismic Project Preferences. On the Display Mode tab, enter a value in the Fence Gap box. When this is set, temporary changes to a seismic window can still be made as described above.
• The lateral picking mode will pick across fence segments when the fence gap width is set to zero, but will stop at the end of a segment if the fence gap width is set to one or more.
