About the Divestco Time Slicing Tools
GeoVista
integrates with Divestco's Time Slicing tools to give you seamless data analysis and editing capabilities.
The following is a brief overview of each of the time slicing applications, as well as instructions about how to open them from GeoVista.

Occurrence Profiling Plot
Export your result sets to this plotting application to graph their production history curves for a particular time slice period. Use Occurrence Profiling Plot to draw curves and quickly compare production trends in the first year of production, sum your production rates as one curve to see overall production trends, and save your decline curve profiles to reuse them later.
Workflow
- In GeoVista, create a result set that includes injection data.
- On the Bubble Map/Time Slice Tools toolbar, click
to toggle the map from a bubble map to time slices. The icon will change to
.
- On the same toolbar, click
to turn on the Occurrence Profiling Plot software.
- Select
to display the time slices. The Occurrence Profiling Plot software automatically opens.
Occurrence Profiling Report
Export your result sets to this pool evaluation and reporting application to create reports that contain pool summary tables, well summary tables, well charts, and OP charts.
Workflow
- In GeoVista, create a result set.
- On the Bubble Map/Time Slice Tools toolbar, click
to toggle the map from a bubble map to time slices. The icon will change to
.
- On the same toolbar, click
to turn on the Occurrence Profiling Report software.
- Select
to display the time slices. The Occurrence Profiling Report software automatically opens.
- Once you open Occurrence Profiling Report application, you can either:
- Use GeoVista's Bubble Map/Time Slice Tools toolbar to manipulate the time slice period data on your report.
- Work independent from GeoVista, and use the Occurrence Profiling Report's toolbar to move through time periods to see how your pool's data changes.
