Generating Contours- Overview

ProductName provides two methods of generating contours:

• Quick Contours - This method can be used as a means of producing instant contours for use as a diagnostic tool to display the results of interactive smoothing, or to determine appropriate contour intervals.
  • To determine the appropriate smoothing interval for quick contours, turn off feathering and smoothing.
• Presentation Contours - This method is used for hard-copy presentations or as an overlay for posting other data in the background.
• Both quick contours and presentation contours may be generated for 3D data sets without gridding.
