Add / Edit Boreholes

From the Well Spot Database dialog box, you can click <Edit> or <Add> to open the Edit Well Spot dialog box, where you can choose to edit or add boreholes.

The value in the Boreholes column of the Well Spot Database dialog box corresponds to the number of boreholes that have been defined for that well.

In the Edit Well Spot dialog box, the well borehole information displayed was parsed from the well-spot file when the wells were imported.

If no borehole exists for the chosen well, select Add Borehole to create a new one. If you wish to edit an existing borehole, you can either double click on the borehole you want to edit , or highlight it and select Edit Borehole. View image

From this window you can edit the borehole Name, KB and Units. You will also find the option to define a Top and Bottom hole Depth and Velocity, as well as bottom hole coordinates. These values can be used to compute Well Time for your tops so that they can be displayed on your seismic.

If the source of the time/depth information is changed, you may need to recalculate well survey and/or well times in order for the tops to take effect.
