You may want to reuse a map object that you've drawn or imported. For example, you can copy drawings of fault traces, or circles showing the affected radius around well locations. Use the Map Drawing menu to cut, copy, and paste objects on your map.
Once you've drawn a circle or polygon, or imported a map overlay, you can make copies of those objects and move them around on the map. Follow these steps:
Option | Description |
---|---|
Cut | Remove the currently selected object from the Map window, and send the object to the clipboard. |
Copy | Make a copy of the currently selected map object, and send the object to the clipboard. |
Paste |
Copy the image currently on your clipboard onto the Map window. |
