Draw Circles

1. From the Map window, left-click on the Draw Circle icon on the Drawing Tools toolbar. Your mouse pointer will now be displayed as a pencil within your Map window.
2. Left-click on the Map view to set the center point of the circle. To expand the radius of the circle, drag the mouse away from the center.
3. Left-click again when your circle is at the desired size.

• If you don't like the placement of your circle, right-click inside of it and select Delete Object from the menu.

4. Right-click inside the circle to open the Map Drawing menu, and select Save Layer As to open the Save Layer As dialog box.
5. Name and save the circle. Once you save the circle, it's added to the Map Overlay folder in the Layers tab of the Layer Manager.
6. From the Map Drawing menu, you can also specify the drawing properties of the circle.
