How to Create a Fence to Compare Different SEG-Y Versions

Create fences to compare different versions of the same line as follows:

  1. Create a fence composed of two panels of the same line.
  2. Display the fence in a seismic window.
  3. Right-click on one of the two fence panels and select SEGY Version. A list of file versions will open (Read more about filename extensions).
  4. Versions are in order of creation, with the last version being the most recently created. Select the version you wish to post and click <OK> to update the display.
  5. Follow the same procedure for the second panel if you wish to change its version.

Different versions of the line are now displayed side-by-side.
