Fence
You have several options to display a fence.
Display a New Fence
- - You have just created a fence and want to display it in a new Seismic window. Right-click on the Map window and select from the shortcut menu (or press <d>
on your keyboard).
- - You have just created a fence and want to display it in an existing Seismic window. Right click on the Map window and select from the shortcut menu (or press <D>
on your keyboard).
Open a Fence from the Seismic Window
Follow these steps to open a fence from a Seismic window
and display it in this same window:
- From the menu
bar, select ...
- Select a fence and click <Open>. The fence will
automatically open in your Seismic window, inheriting all settings from
previous seismic displays. The fence trace is also displayed in the Map window.
Open a Fence From the Map Window
Follow these steps to open a fence from a Map window and
display it in a new or existing Seismic window:
- From the menu bar, select ...
- Select your fence definition file and click <Open>. The fence trace will open in the map window.
The line attached to the end of the fence trace in the Map window allows
you to edit the fence definition. You may add fence segments, or press
the <Backspace> key on your
keyboard to undo segment definitions one by one.
To display the fence definition, right-click on the map and select
to open the fence in a new window (or press <d> on your keyboard), or Drag and Drop Fence to display the fence in an existing window (or press <D>
on your keyboard).
- Displaying a fence in an existing window
allows you to re-use previously defined display parameters such as scale
and display mode.
