Seismic Display Interpolation

Reduce the abrupt color changes in your seismic by using the display interpolation function. WinPICS provides color pixel and over-sample data interpolation.

From the Seismic window's Display Modetoolbar, or the Display | Seismic Interpolation menu, select:

Icon	Function	Hot-key	Description
	Color Pixel	<Ctrl> + <i>	Colors are smoothed and assigned on a pixel basis instead of a data sample basis.
	Over-sample Data	<Ctrl> + <o>	Over-sample data interpolation applies a function to the wiggle traces to produce curved line traces instead of straight line segments connecting data samples.

You can apply both interpolation factors at the same time.
To further reduce any abrupt color changes, increase the number of colors used by the Seismic window or Map window. See Color Palette - Resize CSet.
