Making
a Horizon/Fault Active
Making a Horizon Active for Picking
There are several ways to select an active horizon
for picking. Click Pick Horizons to enable horizon picking mode. Then choose one of the following options:
- Click on the Active
Horizon button to display a drop down list of horizons
in the database.
- Click Show
List of Horizons/faults on the Horizon
Picking toolbar.
- Click on a horizon annotation
tag to set the event active for picking.
- While in the Seismic
window, press <p> on your
keyboard.
Making a Fault Active for Marking
There are several ways to select an active fault for
marking. Click the Mark Faults button to enable fault marking mode. Then choose one of the following options:
- Click on the Active
Fault button to display a drop down list of faults in the database.
- Click Show
List of Horizons/faults on the Horizon
Picking toolbar.
- Click on a fault annotation
tag to set the fault active for marking.
- While in the Seismic
window, press <p> on your
keyboard.
- The name of the active horizon/fault appears in the Status
bar at the top of the Seismic
window.
- To select to have no horizons active, right-click the Seismic
window to open the shortcut menu, and select (or press <e> on your keyboard).
