Palette - New CSet
Use the New CSet
function to create a new color set from scratch.
- Right click on the color
palette to open a popup menu and select .
- A window will open asking
you to set the number of colors you wish to use in your color set. Enter
a number between 1 and 254. A higher number will result in smoother transitions
between colors on the seismic and map windows. Don't use a number of colors
that exceeds the largest number of colors your graphics card and workstation
display settings support. Click <OK>.
- An all black color palette
will appear. Double click on the color palette to edit the color at this
location.
- A standard Windows color palette window will open
for color selection and customization. The available colors depend on
your Windows display settings and the capabilities of your graphics card.
You can select an existing color (click on a Basic color) or assign a new color (click
on a Customcolor).
Define your new color then click on Add
to Custom Colors to place your new color on the custom color palette.
- Repeat this process to select other colors for
the color palette.
- Use the Drag
Mode to interpolate between the new colors.
- Use the Save
Asfunction to save the color set to a new file.
- To abort the new color set you are creating,
select Open
CSet and select your previous color
set.
