How to open the Set Opacity dialog box

In your Map view, right-click on the color palette and select Set Opacity from the menu.

Use the Set Opacity dialog box to make posted objects on your map transparent, so you can see important map information underneath the object.

Use the arrow buttons to set the opacity, as a percentage. At 100, the object is completely opaque, meaning you cannot see through it at all. At 0, the object is completely transparent. The Map view updates dynamically to apply the opacity as you change the value.

Click <OK> to apply the opacity to the object and close the dialog box.
