Edit LUT

You can customize the mnemonics or units for a variety of your well synthetics. Follow these steps:

1. On the Application toolbar select | Well Database to open the Wellspot Database.
2. Select the well(s) you want to add a customized synthetic to.
3. Click <Edit LUT> and select a synthetic from the list. You have the following options:

4. In the text editor, make your changes to the mnemonic or units.
5. Click <Save>. The new synthetic file (.svn) is added to the LASLOGS folder for the selected well(s). When no valid sonic is found, WinPICS deletes the synthetic volume and file.

• When you edit Lookup table information (LUT), WinPICS stores it separately from the base system LUT information and new software or patch installations will not overwrite it
