Symbol Preferences Tab

Use the Symbol Preferences tab to select map symbol preferences for your Map view. WinPICS saves the preferences as defaults for this project. View image

This tab has the following options:

Symbol - Select the map symbol you want to change. The default attributes for the selected symbol are displayed below. A preview of the selected symbol is displayed to the right.
Width/Height - Select the dimensions for the symbol.
Color - Select the color for the symbol. If the symbol is an empty symbol, the color is applied to only the outline. If the symbol is a filled symbol, the color is applied to the fill.
<Update Preview> - Click this button to update the preview of the currently selected symbol.
