GeoVista Print Layout Tool

To open the GeoVista Print Layout Tool, select File | Print Preview. Use this tool to create a print template to preview and edit how your map will print.

The view you see in the main window is what will print when you send your map to the printer, including if you will see a legend, author's block, or scale bar. You can interact quite extensively with this template using the GeoVista Print Layout Tool's menu bar and toolbars. Click on the image below to learn more about the areas of the interface:

• The GeoVista Print Layout Tool does not have an <Undo> button. Therefore, any changes you make (such as deleting the scalebar) are permanent. However, you can replace any standard object you delete by re-drawing the item on the page.
