WinPICS provides several zoom and pan functions for viewing your map and seismic displays.
From the Map window, access the zoom functions from the Map Navigation toolbar, or the Display menu. On the Seismic window, access the zoom functionality from the Data Navigation toolbar, or the Display menu.

Zoom Out | Click to zoom out of the map at 2x the map scale. | |
<A> | Zoom All | Use the Zoom All function to view all the data on your map or seismic window. This will allow you to view an entire map, seismic line, fence, etc. | |
<Z> | Undo Zoom | Use the Undo Zoom function to return to your previous zoom level. Alternatively, you can select undo from the menu bar by selecting Display Options | Zoom | Undo. | |
none | Zoom to Scale | Use the Zoom Scale function to zoom to a specific scale in the Map window or Seismic window. Follow these steps in the Map window:
When using Zoom Scale in the Seismic window, select Display | Zoom | Scale to open the Seismic Display Options dialog box. |

none | <Ctrl> + <q> | Zoom Square | In the Seismic window, use the Zoom Square function to produce proportionate seismic scales that are based upon the number of traces per inch in the current display. Open the Zoom Square function on the seismic window by selecting Display | Zoom | Square or pressing the hot-keys. Square Data Displays 5 traces/inch ® 100 inches/sec 10 traces/inch ® 50 inches/sec 20 traces/inch ® 25 inches/sec 25 traces/inch ® 20 inches/sec 50 traces/inch ® 10 inches/sec 100 traces/inch ® 5 inches/sec |
You can also zoom and pan the map using your mouse.
