Options - Data Output Option
The Data Output Options allow
you to limit the range of output grid node values. Click on <More Options> in the Kernel Gridding window. A new window will open. Click the down arrow in the lower
right-hand corner of the window under Data
Output Option to view the list of available options:
- Retain Input
data max and min – Input minimum and maximum values are retained
for output.
- No Negative Data
Allowed – No negative data values are output.
- No Positive Data
Allowed – No positive data values are output.
- Set a maximum
limit – Set a maximum value for the output data.
- Set a minimum
limit – Set a minimum value for the output data.
- Set both max
and min limits – Set both a minimum and a maximum value for the
output data.
- Retain input
data max/min +/- 1StdDev – Input minimum and maximum values plus
or minus one standard deviation are retained.
- Retain input
data max/min +/- 2StdDev – Input minimum and maximum values plus
or minus two standard deviations are retained.
- Retain input
data max/min +/- 3StdDev – Input minimum and maximum values plus
or minus three standard deviations are retained.
- The maximum, minimum, mean, rms, and standard deviation values of the
input data can be read from the bottom of the map display in the Kernel
Gridding window. See: grid data
